The Moorland Garden Hotel

At the Moorland Garden Hotel Wedding is always beautiful, for Michelle and Paul’s wedding in August it wasn’t any different. A hotel which has such lavish gardens, located on Dartmoor.

Working alongside the talented videographers Focus Memory Productions, Michelle got ready with her Bridal Party in the forget me not suite, The Groom and his party arrived in a Limo. With their three son’s all in Grey suits with coral ties, a colour scheme that matched with the Bridesmaids dresses. All the details big and small tied in so well it really was one of the most perfect days.

The ceremony was outside and beautifully decorated by the multi award winning Lovingly by Leslie wedding events, where the weather was outstanding and the sun decided to shine. Michelle’s dress looked flawless as they declared their vows. Then they were taken around the Gardens to have their second location photo’s taken. You have so many options at the Moorland Garden, but one of our favourites includes the bench looking out onto Dartmoor and it’s evergreen.

The speeches were heartfelt and pure entertainment delivered by the Groom’s father and his brothers. We then left the guests so they could enjoy their meals and drinks. As the evening guests arrived the dancefloor opened and DJ Northey started the entertainment which the younger guests danced their hearts out.

The night ended with a beautiful father and daughter dance in which everyone gathered to watch. Then the Brides and Grooms first dance began with a romantic feel.

Winner of the South West Wedding Awards 2018

Completely overwhelmed would be an understatement – I still cannot believe that Bruckshaw photography won classic wedding photographer of the year in the south west wedding awards for the second year running. All I could think was ‘is this really happening’ followed by ‘I hope I don’t knock over the flowers’ something both Matt & Victoria from HEART FM remembered and commented on as i made my way to the stage.  I was worried that last year may have been an amazing fluke to thinking that wow I must be doing something right…..what a wonderful thing.Read More
